Greetings from Crafton Heights, PA. My name is JINJING CHANG, a second generation Chinese-American. Many also know me as Gary Chang. I know Gary is a very rare name for women. I started MtcSol.org after I watched a frugal woman in front of me (at the grocery store) pay only a few dollars for an entire shopping cart of groceries. That was last May at that Wallmart in Beijing, China, when I was visiting my parents. All this lady at the store had to do was hand the clerk a stack of coupons, so I asked myself, “Why can’t I do that to?” After checking into several online sources for information, I realized there are many great money saving opportunities out there.
How I Started My Frugal Lifestyle
Raising four kids, I am extremely motivated to save on money. For the first few years of our marriage everything was fine and then my husband became ill. In fact, he could no longer work and had to take a disability retirement from his job of 20 years. Needless to say, this can put a strain on a family in a hurry.
With a Bachelor Degree in IT I started working for a small local firm offering computer support services, to make ends meet. My husband helped out at home the best he could, but life was difficult. I was literally at my wits end wondering what to do next when I saw how much that woman in the grocery store was saving. We talked for a while in the parking lot and she told me her secret. You have to check out as many sources as possible and this has to be done on a regular basis.
With this lesson in hand, I started checking out online sources for coupon saving deals, and this is a great way to meet people with the same interests as you. I frequented coupon blogs and contacted the webmasters. I posted messages at online coupon discussion groups and before long, I developed a steady stream of money saving information.
After you find something good, it is time to put back. I firmly believe “what goes around comes around” and when you share, all kinds of good things come into your life. That is why I publish this blog and update as often as I can with some of the best deals on the Web.
Not only can you save on grocery deals, but you will find discounts on just about anything you can buy online. Online coupon codes and deals are very simple and you do not have to go through the newspaper and clip out coupons. You do not have to waste all of your ink printing out coupons either. You only need to enter a code number when you pay online.
The great thing about the Internet is you can live anywhere and still share money saving online deals. For example, I can share with people all over the country. These deals work just as well for those living in Florida, New York, or California.
You do not need a great deal of training or experience to save money. It only takes a few minutes time and Internet access. Since 2008, when the coupon cutting wave began, Many people are saving hundreds of dollars every month with the help of coupon blogs, and there is no reason that you cannot get in on the fun too.
What Are My Plans in Life?
Being a Chinese, my dream is to open a Chinese learning school here in Kansas city. I have a Masters Degree in Chinese and therefore I teach already to a group of people. I would love my school to offer a Master of International Education to teach Chinese language, just like the famous Confucious Institute. For those who don’t know, Confucius Institute Online is an educational website that facilitates Chinese learning. It was founded and sponsored by Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters. The Confucius Institute Online is built for those who love the Chinese learning all around the world, promoting the understanding of Chinese language culture, promoting the cultural and educational colaboration between China and the rest of the world. The goal is to enhance the friendship between China and other countries.
